Amazon Web Services Expands Operations in Puerto Rico
Local Office Will Offer Services to other Caribbean Islands

Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com company, has opened shop in Puerto Rico, AWS Regional Sales Director Marcos Grilanda told Caribbean Business in a recent interview.
“As part of our expansion plans we are inaugurating our office in Puerto Rico,” Grilanda said. “This office seeks to expand services that AWS offers to all our clients.”
“We are extremely happy with this important space aimed at our Caribbean market,” he said. “Amazon Web Services is more than a company offering technology services, we are a company that changes business operations and we are a company that transforms our clients’ operations with technology and innovation.”
For over 15 years, AWS has been the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud offering. AWS has more than 200 fully featured services for compute, storage, databases, networking and analytics, among others.
