SAN JUAN – A weekend of major discounts in the island’s stores is about to end, but those who prefer to make purchases online still have time to get it on the deals offered because tomorrow is Cyber Monday.

The online offers began Friday but retailers expect Monday to be the big sales day. Cyber Monday offers an immense number of discounts and rebates that many customers take advantage of from the comfort of their homes.

On Friday, of the most sold articles were flat screen TVs, but what are the sought after articles on Cyber Monday?

According to infobae.com and the most sought after offers on eBay and Amazon, the following items are top the lists:

Tablets: These were popular on Black Friday but will probably continue to be purchased online Monday.

Flat screen TVs: The kings of Black Friday deals come in second place as the most searched for items on Cyber Monday.

Laptops, cellphones and cameras: Also on the list of most sought after items on Black Friday, these three products are also highly searched for online.

Home furnishings: In 6th place are home furnishings. Bedroom, living room and dinner sets and chairs, as well as all types of accessories for the home are perused online for deals.

Housewares: The websites of companies such as Sears and Walmart display sales for “electro-domestic” products, especially washing and drying machines.

Clothes and shoes: Just as on Black Friday, many consumers look for clothes and shoes through online and take advantage of Cyber Monday offers.

Fashion accessories: Bags, watches, sunglasses and other accessories are some of the most searched for items online as well. This is in part due to a lack of store brands on the island.
