Auxilio Mutuo Committed to Patients’ Health
Hospital Auxilio Mutuo, in San Juan’s Hato Rey district, recently launched a new advertising campaign: “El compromiso es mutuo” (“The commitment is mutual”). Developed by local advertising agency Adworks, the campaign centers on the hospital’s commitment to patients while highlighting that all people should take care of their health.
Jorge L. Matta, administrator of Hospital Auxilio Mutuo, said: “Our commitment goes way beyond just being a hospital. We provide healthcare services of the highest quality.”
“We are in the lead in terms of innovative medical procedures. In February, we performed the first allogenic bone morrow transplant in an adult patient,” Matta said.

“A vital component for all who have made a commitment to health is prevention. With this in mind, we have Nutrition, Diabetes Education and Sleep Disorder centers, among others, that aspire for the communities we serve to enjoy optimal quality of life,” he added.
The new campaign also highlights services offered by Hospital Auxilio Mutuo’s various specialized units, including the Transplant Center; Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center; Sleep Disorder Center; Cancer Center; and Nutrition Center.
Vanessa Marzán, director of the hospital’s public relations, said the campaign underscores the importance of the relationship between the hospital and its patients.
“We recognize that with today’s new and diverse access to inform, patients can educate themselves about their health conditions and diagnoses,” Marzán said. Patients, she added, can search for different alternatives to have control over their health. “The campaign aims to have a presence in the main channels of information that patients use, such as social networks, digital media, print and television.”
