Bahía Beach Resort & Golf Club Appoints New CEO

SAN JUAN–Bahía Beach Resort & Golf Club recently announced the appointment of Martin Smith as its new Chief Executive Officer. Smith, who served as General Director for the past three years, was promoted to the new position from which he’ll assume the responsibility of directing the operation of the luxurious residential property in Rio Grande and the St. Regis Bahía Beach Resort.

“I feel very honored with this promotion because, since 2013 when I started working on the property, we have managed to position it as one of the top luxurious properties in Puerto Rico,” said the newly appointed executive. “My goal is to continue to lead our excellent work team to achieve a higher step and occupy the position of being the most important property in the country and the Caribbean”, added.

His passion for the property, the staff and the residents have been key to achieve the transformation and the success of Bahía Beach Resort & Golf Club over the last few years. In his new role, Martin will continue to guide and drive the efforts and efficient operation of the real estate sales and development of both properties.
