Bush Upbraids Trump at New Hampshire Republican Forum

By on January 23, 2016

NASHUA, N.H. – Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has unleashed a fury of criticism against rival Donald Trump before imploring New Hampshire voters to forgo the billionaire businessman in the state’s Feb. 9 primary.

Trump continues to dominate polling in the first primary state, but did not attend Saturday’s event. Nor did Ted Cruz. The Texas senator is neck-and-neck with Trump is the nation’s first nominating contest in Iowa and is rising in New Hampshire. A host of candidates fighting for survival in New Hampshire are appearing alongside Bush. They include Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, former CEO Carly Fiorina and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.

Bush alone delivered harsh words for Trump. Others largely stayed away from attacking their Republican rivals.
