CEO of Airport operator Aerostar Puerto Rico resigns
SAN JUAN – The board of Aerostar Airport Holdings, the private operator of Puerto Rico’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport has appointed Jorge Hernández as acting CEO following the resignation of Agustín Arellano.
In a statement, Hernández expressed his gratitude toward Arellano, saying“We are grateful for the past six years of permanent improvements, maintenance and renewal of the airport. We wish him luck in his new endeavor.”
Hernández has been chief financial officer of Aerostar for five years, and will continue the $90 million five-year capital improvements plan at the airport begun under Arellano.
