Commonwealth Issues 220,836 VACU-IDs in Less than a Week
Since announcing the new system less than a week ago, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico issued 220,836 digital vaccination credentials.
According to the Innovation and Technology Services (PRITS) director, Enrique Völckers Nin, the new credential is available for Android and iOS devices and can be managed through CESCO digital.
“Certainly, the system has been a success. We have been able to validate the information and issue the credentials in record time. Our goal is to establish an accessible and reliable platform, with the best technology available to our citizens,” said Völckers Nin.
