CooPACA launches new flexible loan
SAN JUAN — Amid the challenges posed by the economy and the search for attractive alternatives for its members, the Arecibo Savings & Loan Credit Union (CooPACA by its Spanish acronym) is offering different products in its objective of meeting people’s needs.
Given the changes wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic, CooPACA designed a product for those who need financial support that can be applied for online.
The cooperative has launched the Flexible Loan for “current and prospective members can have the opportunity to settle bills and / or make home improvements,” according to a media release issued by the credit union.
Loans range from $1,000 to $50,000 with interest starting at 5.75%. The offer is valid until May 12.
“The pandemic has altered the way financial institutions do business around the world, starting with customer interaction. Far from this situation serving as a deterrent, at CooPACA we have proposed to continue with our plans to provide products and services through alternative channels such as the web. We currently have offers available that are tailored to the needs of each consumer and can be easily accessed from their mobile device or any computer,” CEO William Méndez Pagán said.
