CPA Association to Hold Economic Development Summit

By on February 26, 2016

SAN JUAN – The Certified Public Accountants Association of Puerto Rico (CCPA) will be holding its first Economic Development Summit on March 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) Theater in Río Piedras.

The event, which has the support of UPR Río Piedras’ business administration faculty, will be a forum for discussion between the private sector and academia intended to advance the vision of effecting the economic recovery for Puerto Rico.

At the summit, the CCPA’s recommendations for the gubernatorial candidates will be presented and discussed by panelists who represent various economic development sectors. Getting reactions and feedback from the audience is part of the forum’s format.

Having taken into consideration the input received at the summit, the panelists’ proposals will be delivered to the candidates, who will provide their responses to these when participating in the CCPA’s convention in September.
