CRIM: Property Appraisals Increase, Up-to-date
SAN JUAN – The president of the Municipal Revenue Collections Center (CRIM for its Spanish acronym) governing board, Jorge Márquez, said Tuesday that the number of property appraisals and reappraisals has increased and are up-to-date due to the effectiveness of the agency’s regional offices.
“There has been an increase in the number of properties appraised and reappraised. A monthly report is made on how many properties are being appraised, and it is all evaluated to determine its effectiveness,” said Márquez, who is also the mayor of Maunabo, a town some 80 kilometers southeast of San Juan.
Márquez said revenues are as estimated in the budget and remittances to municipalities will continue as scheduled.
