Cruise Line Conference Returns to Puerto Rico
The Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) executive director, Carlos Mercado Santiago, announced the return of the Annual Conference of the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), the only official cruise market conference that represents stakeholders of the Caribbean, Mexico, Central, and South American region.
The event, which will be held next year from June 1 to 3 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, will be presented in a format focused on individual meetings that facilitate more significant interaction with senior executives of the cruise lines who are members of the FCCA.
“We are very excited that Puerto Rico will once again host the FCCA Annual Conference. We welcome all the members who will visit us to be part of this important event to be held in compliance with all the required protocols (due to the COVID-19 pandemic),” said Mercado Santiago.
The public official said the Puerto Rico Tourism Company prepares the destination of Puerto Rico for the resumption of commercial cruise trips following all safety precautions.
The PRTC estimates the conference could generate $1.4 million for the local economy.
