Destilería Serrallés launches Don Q Piña rum

SAN JUAN – Puerto Rico-based rum producer Destilería Serrallés has launched Don Q Piña. As Part of its tropical fruit line that mixes rums aged for more than a year in American white oak barrels, the new flavor is then infused with natural pineapple extract.
The company recommends using Don Q Piña to make tropical cocktails or other drinks such as a blend with coconut water for a different variation of the piña colada. Another alternative is to pair the drink with tropical and asian cuisine.
Don Q’s new product contains 30 percent alcohol and will be available in supermarkets, chains and establishments on the island. It joins Don Q’s Cristal, Gold, Pasión, Añejo, Gran Añejo, Limón and others.
