Foundation for Puerto Rico Hires Two Top Executives
The nonprofit Foundation for Puerto Rico (FPR) announced the appointment of Alma Frontera as vice president of Operations and Patricia De La Torre as vice president of Stakeholder Engagement.
The organization, which promotes Puerto Rico in the global economy, said the appointments are aligned with FPR’s objective to achieve efficient and strategic operations.
“At Foundation for Puerto Rico, we take advantage of the talents and skills of high-caliber professionals with proven experience in various fields. Whatever their role, each person brings their expertise and knowledge to the table to help Puerto Rico reach its potential. We welcome Alma and Patricia, and we trust in their leadership,” said Jon Borschow, CEO of FPR.
Frontera has over 20 years of experience managing event productions, logistics, and projects in various sectors, including hospitality, tourism, entertainment, media, consumer brands, and marketing. “I accept this new professional challenge with enthusiasm and gratitude. It is a source of great pride to be able to work for the good of Puerto Rico. Foundation for Puerto Rico has accomplished much over the past ten years, but there is still much to do. The island’s wellbeing is and will always be what motivates me,” said Frontera.
Meanwhile, De La Torre has vast experience in strategic marketing, sales, communications and is known for building strong brands. “I am aware of the great responsibility that Foundation for Puerto Rico has with the island. My goal is to apply my experience and knowledge, both in the private sector and in nonprofits, to support Foundation and leverage our resources to achieve real change,” De La Torre said.
