GSRX buys more Puerto Rico real estate

By on July 26, 2018

SAN JUAN – Cannabis-based products company GSRX Industries Inc., through its subsidiary, Andalucia LLC, announced Thursday that it acquired two properties in San Juan as part of the company’s plan to expand operations and build up its portfolio of retail cannabis dispensaries.

The real estate property purchased consists of a building and an adjacent property with a parking lot. The building is currently leased by a third-party for the operation of a medicinal cannabis dispensary, “and is considered to be one of Puerto Rico’s top-grossing dispensaries,” according to the news release.

“Based on early success at our three Green Spirit RX dispensaries operating in Puerto Rico, and our plans to grow our network of dispensaries as well as potential cannabis distribution and manufacturing operations, we have actively sought out and made strategic real estate acquisitions on the island,” GSRX CEO Les Ball adds in the release. “We have made our intention to become Puerto Rico’s premier purveyor of medicinal cannabis clear from the outset, and we believe these cannabis investment properties will be key to helping us reach that goal.”

Besides acquiring, and operating retail cannabis dispensaries, GSRX is expanding its business to include the cultivation, extraction, manufacture and delivery of cannabis and cannabinoid products.

It owns and operates four cannabis dispensaries in California and Puerto Rico, and has “acquired four additional pre-qualified locations” in Puerto Rico, “all of which are under construction with expected openings later this year,” a previous announcement read.
