Horoma3 Holds Top Spot in Billings Among Local Media Agencies
SAN JUAN–Horoma3, a locally-based media agency, held the top spot among other media agencies on the island for 2015, according to the billings-to-rate measured by Nielsen, with $184.1 million in advertising investment in Puerto Rico, agency execs announced Thursday, adding it is also maintaining its lead during the first semester of the current year.
The agency, founded in 2015, is the result of a union of the media resources of advertising agencies De La Cruz Group; Sajo, García & Alcázar; and Lopito, Ileana & Howie Inc., which resulted in Horoma3 becoming the largest agency in terms of negotiation and media buys in Puerto Rico.
“This position is very important for our industry because the revenues of this operation remain 100% in Puerto Rico, contributing to the local economy,” said Alexandra Caraballo, executive director of Horoma3, adding that the agency has as its mission a greater understanding of the local market with better media negotiation and strategic planning. “This mission is validated because, being 100% local, Horoma3 only answers to the interests of its clients.”
Caraballo highlighted that the majority of Horoma3 clients are large, multinational corporations that are “precisely in search of that [degree of] local knowledge and objectivity in the managing of the specific market.”
