Island Inns Ready For Fourth of July Long Weekend
The Puerto Rico Parador Owners and Tourism Association announced that they are ready to receive hundreds of families that tend to prefer to stay in Puerto Rico’s inns during their vacations, family celebrations, and holidays.
“This long weekend has a very special meaning for all the residents of our island,” said Jesús Ramos, the Puerto Rico Parador Owners and Tourism Association president and owner of Parador Villas Sotomayor in Adjuntas. “We continue moving ahead with the COVID-19 vaccination, and our people have been very responsible in following the rules during the phased reopening, following the pandemic shutdowns. We all have a great desire to relax and enjoy as a family. Our inns are ready to provide absolute security, high-quality facilities, the best service, and lots of fun at the most affordable cost in the Caribbean.”
“The 2021 summer season has been busier than the 2019 season, the best season of the last decade, and July is projecting very well. The marketing and promotion campaigns carried out by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) and Discover Puerto Rico have been very effective in attracting local and non-resident tourists. The months of July and August are ideal for a romantic or family escape, and there are still rooms available at our inns,” said Xavier Ramírez, the association’s marketing committee head.
Ramírez, who is also the general manager at Combate Beach Resort, said that Puerto Rico’s inns provide the best value-added offer, following all health and safety protocols amid the pandemic. During the past four years, all the inns have been revamped and have the recreational facilities, technology, and highly trained staff that the global traveler is looking for, Ramírez said.
“Our inns are in regions of high ecotourism interest with a wide range of attractions and restaurants and can accommodate all tastes and budgets,” he said. “We have inns on the beach, while others offer you the agro-tourism beauties and the rivers at the mountain, at accessible rates. We invite you to call your favorite inn, or visit our Facebook page, ‘Paradores de Puerto Rico,’ or the website www.visitparadores.com.”
