More than 1,000 NPP Public Servants Participate in Electoral Summit
SAN JUAN – Ahead of the June 5 primaries, more than 1,000 government employees, who support Ricardo Rosselló’s candidacy for governor, participated Saturday in a public-servant electoral summit.
At the meeting, convened by the president of the New Progressive Party’s Auxiliary Organization of Progressive Public Servants, Jesús “Chu” Rodríguez, participants were trained on the use of new electronic voting equipment and other matters related to the elections process.
“There are only 28 days left before Ricardo Rosselló and Jenniffer González participate in the primary process and together achieve the greatest and most overwhelming victory in history. To that end, the electoral team, captained by Manuel Herrera and Carlos Fernández, is redoubling efforts and carrying out a series of intensive trainings throughout the island,” Rodríguez said.
He added that “polling officials and mobilizers are both an essential part in the whole election process. They are the engine that drives the democratic process. Their work and sacrifice deserve our full recognition.”
