New Director for Prfaa Regional Office in Florida
The executive director for the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (Prfaa), Juan Eugenio Hernández Mayoral, appointed Pablo Cáceres Pérez as the new director of Prfaa’s regional office in the state of Florida on Wednesday.
“Cáceres Pérez is a public servant of the highest caliber,” said Hernández Mayoral. “His professional background has prepared him for this task and I am sure that I can count on him to strengthen our relationship with the Puerto Rican diaspora in Florida.”
Cáceres Pérez has previously held various positions in government, including that of community official in the administration’s regional office in Florida since its inauguration in 2013.
He also served as a special assistant in the Puerto Rico Senate from 2005 to 2011, as assistant of Programming and Calendar for the speaker of the Puerto Rico House of Representatives and as administrative assistant to the sergeant-at-arms at the House from 2001 to 2004. His academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the Central University of the Caribbean in Puerto Rico.
