By on May 31, 2016

SAN JUAN – Upon reviewing the terms applicable for two of its commercial vehicles sold in Puerto Rico, Nissan has extended the basic warranty, as well as powertrain (engine and transmission) coverage for its NV Cargo and NV 200 Cargo vehicles, to 60 months or 100,000 miles, local Nissan distributor Motorambar announced Tuesday.

The new basic and powertrain warranty terms apply retroactively from 2014 model years and later, from the day the vehicles are delivered, registered or put to use.

nissan_nv_cargo_van_08“In order to improve the competitiveness of our models in the local market, and to maintain a good long-term relationship with our clients, at Nissan we’ve proposed to offer a more extensive warranty coverage to maintain loyalty by offering high value in their experience with Nissan’s commercial vehicles,” Nissan’s Commercial Director in Puerto Rico, Juan Santana, said.

The respective dealers’ service and warranty departments will identify the vehicles sold and registered that qualify under this new warranty coverage, and will be soon producing an official notice to customers.

Nissan’s commercial vehicle lineup is sold through the following local authorized dealers: Aguadilla Motors, Autounion, Triangle, Auto Grupo, Adriel, Cabrera and Autocentro.
