Oriental Holds Second Innovation Summit

SAN JUAN – Oriental Bank held its second Innovation Summit at the Neeuko Innovation Center at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón.

The weekend event featured the participation of Melissa L. Bradley, a professor of practice at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, where she teaches impact investing, social entrepreneurship, P2P economies and innovation.

The event was aimed at generating a conversation about innovation and social entrepreneurship to provide tools that contribute to the economic development of nonprofit organizations, businesses, communities and Puerto Rico in general.

During the event, attendees also heard a panel discussion by Isabel Rullán, cofounder and director of ConPRmetidos; Denisse Rodríguez, COO of Codetrotters; Javier de Jesús, director of Neeuko Innovation Center; and Lola Yglesias, executive director of Enactus Puerto Rico.

Oriental Bank, Oriental Financial Services and Oriental Insurance are subsidiaries of financial holding company OFG Bancorp that provide services primarily in Puerto Rico through 48 financial centers.
