Popular to Host 2nd Finance Summit for College Students
SAN JUAN – Banco Popular has announced it will be hosting its second finance summit for college students Friday, March 11, at Centro Europa in San Juan’s Santurce sector.
During the event, experts from the financial institution will share their knowledge on investing, financial volatility, the macro economic environment, cybersecurity and financial planning, among others.
The event is free of charge for attendees and will be held at Popular’s Training Center on the third floor of Centro Europa.
“This initiative is part of an educational program that Popular hosts to support the development of Puerto Rico’s future leaders. Last year, we surpassed all of our attendance expectations. For this second summit we are expanding the space capacity so more students can benefit from it,” said Mariemi Sierra, first vice president of Popular’s Nuestra Gente (Our People) division.
