Puerto Rico CPA Society to hold entrepreneurship forum

To discuss financing sources, ways to protect assets

SAN JUAN – As part of its efforts for the recovery and economic well-being of the island, the Puerto Rico CPA Society will hold a conference, titled “Entrepreneurship Forum: a Look at Opportunities,” on March 20 at its headquarters in San Juan.

“During the forum, tools and valuable information will be offered to empower any person interested in starting their business or strengthen the company they are already running. In addition, we will present the crucial role of the CPA in these processes,” CPA Society President Cecilia C. Colón Ouslán said in the announcing release.

The forum will feature discussions about the basic concepts of entrepreneurship and its related ecosystem on the island. Participants will also be presented with a “look at emerging opportunities in the current market, including sources of financing and ways to protect the entrepreneur’s assets.”

Success stories and examples of innovation will be presented.
