Puerto Rico fiscal board to hold economic development hearing next week
To focus on ‘status of the Ease of Doing Business reforms’
SAN JUAN – The Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico said Wednesday it will hold a public hearing on economic development at the Puerto Rico Convention Center on Sept. 26.
Public, private and nonprofit sector representatives will participate in the hearing, which the board said will focus on the “status and impact of the Ease of Doing Business reforms” being carried out by the island’s government.
The hearing will be streamed live via the board’s website as well as by Caribbean Business, and its audio will be available in English and Spanish. The recording will be posted at the website following the hearing.
