San Juan Marriott enters TripAdvisor’s Excellence Award Hall of Fame
Recognized after earning Certificate of Excellence for 5-consecutive years
SAN JUAN – Travel search engine and directory TripAdvisor has recognized the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino with the Hall of Fame 2019 Certificate of Excellence for a fifth consecutive year.
TripAdvisor, which is considered the largest travel platform, has been awarding Certificates of Excellence since 2011 to hotels that provide “consistent service standards and that have received positive reviews constantly,” the company explains. However, to enter the company’s Hall of Fame, businesses must have received a Certificate of Excellence five years in a row.
The resort offers a variety of amenities for guests staying at any of the 527 rooms. The beachfront facilities include a 24-hour casino, its Ocean Club Wellness spa, a newly renovated gym, a swimming pool, more than 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space, two bars and three restaurants.
“This award reflects our consistency providing excellent service and the best customer experience year after year. This can only be achieved with a highly motivated team trained by the highest standards set by the biggest hotel chain in the world,” resort General Manager José González assured.
The award is significant because the travel site includes more than 760 million reviews and opinions “covering approximately 8.3 million accommodations, airlines, experiences, restaurants and cruises,” according to TripAdvisor, whose namesake-branded sites see 490 million average monthly unique visitors.
