Uber Eats Expands Puerto Rico Footprint
E-Commerce Platform Adds Stores, Features

Global ride-hailing platform Uber and Uber Eats, the food-ordering and delivery platform that allows users to order food from local restaurants from any place, announced that customers in the municipalities of San Juan, Bayamón and Caguas will be able to order products from the Walgreens pharmacy store chain.
In the application, the drugstore will have health, wellness-related, beauty and personal care products, essential items for the home and over-the counter medications, among others, which, according to Uber, “the user will receive the same day.” In this launch stage, users will be able to find Walgreens’ best-selling items. The company added that “more and more products will be added.”
